- The Anderson County Rescue Squad would like to think everyone for their generous donations last year. With all your help and the help of Excalibur Portrait Studios we were able to buy a new Dive Rescue/Recovery Boat. This boat is made by Rescue One and can be linked with other Rescue One Boats for dragging operations. The new boat sports a 40HP Evo Engine by Evinrude with a Jet Propulsion system making it ideal for shallow water and diving operations without the fear of injury from a standard prop. The dive platform on the bow of the boat makes for easy access and egress for our divers. - The Anderson County Rescue Squad is pleased to announce the purchase of a new MRV (Multi-Role Vehicle). The MRV is made by Yamaha and sports a stokes litter in the back with an attendant's seat for Medical Personal to ride with the patient. IV poles were also added in the back to aid the paramedics in caring for patients while being transported off a mountain or out of a back woods area. The MRV is a 6 wheeled off road vehicle that is primarily used to access patients who are injured far off from the beaten path. We would like to thank everyone who donated money to the Rescue Squad last year and made this purchase possible. Also a very large thank you to the Coal Creek Mining Company for their generous donation toward the purchase.
